Cap du Dramont Discover Why Is so Magic

There is a promontory that seems literally suspended between the sky and the sea. It is called Cap du Dramont and it is an incredible place for its natural beauty, that is located in a nature reserve.

Cap Dramont is a nature reserve that offers breathtaking views from the Ile d’Or and the Agay Bay all the way to the Estérel. It is one of the most beautiful sites in the Estérel massif. A path leads between heaven and earth to an exceptional point of view which opens onto the deep blue of the sea between the red rocks.

Here you can go back to nature with trails that allow you to make walks in the heart of unspoilt nature in the Massif de l’Estérel.

At the summit of Cap Dramont, a signalling station was built in 1860 on the ruins of a watchtower dating back to 1562. Still in active use as an observation post, it is closed to the public.

In winter or summer, Cap Dramont and it’s surroundings like the Estérel offers you a wide range of sporting and fun activities for young and old alike.

Kayaking Along the Esterel Creeks

Close to Saint-Raphaël, from Dramont beach, opt for a maritime escapade using just the strength of your arms and enjoy the breathtaking encounter between the blue of the Mediterranean and the red of the Estérel rock. You will discover the Estérel’s beautiful secret coves and caves that are only accessible from the sea and dive into the crystal clear waters. An activity not to be missed to discover Estérel from a different angle.

Excursion On the Coast of Saint Raphael

The typical red rocks of the Cap du Dramont at the coast of Saint-Raphaël offer plenty of hiking possibilities! The various tracks along the pretty harbour of Poussaï or the beach of Camp Long, offer a breathtaking view. Here you can measure the red rhylite of the Esterel Massif and the blue ‘estérellite’ pebbles at the D-Day beach.

Snorkelling

Many local agency can offer you a snorkelling adventure to discover the wonders of the coastline and the seabed. You can alternate navigation aquatic exploration and relaxation in the sun. Come along the coast and anchor in various privileged coves to admire the underwater world: Put on flippers, mask, snorkel and go for a water hike.
